Location:

Kolimbari, a small, quiet fishing village at the foot of the Rodopou peninsula on the island of Crete, is a great place to get away and relax if you’re after for a nice, quiet destination that has been relatively untouched by an overabundance of tourism.

The hotel is located on the beautiful beach of Kolimbari (3.000 km long beach with sand & pebbles); only 3 minutes walk from the picturesque village of Kolimbari and only 250 m from the Harbour.

Kolimbari, as a little quaint fishing village, is not renowned for its nightlife, but if you enjoy calm evenings with long and lazy drinks and dinners, then it might be just what you need.

Kolimbari is about 23 km west of Chania on the way to Kissamos and has frequent bus connections for easy access.

Avra Imperial is 35 km from Chania International Airport.

Avra Imperial 5***** is built within 65.000 m2 of gardens and water areas and consists of:

• Standard Rooms, sleeping max 3 adults, (32 m2)

• Superior Rooms, sleeping max 3 adults, (36 m2),

• Junior Suites, sleeping max 3 adults + 1 child, with glass separation wall, (39 m2)

• Deluxe Rooms with sharing or private pool, sleeping max 3 adults, (34 m2)

• Deluxe Suites with sleeping room and children’s room with separation wall, sleeping max 4 adults + 1 child (Extra Bed), (60 m2)

• Deluxe Suites with private pool, sleeping max 4 adults + 1 child (Extra Bed), open plan jacuzzi and steam bath available, (75 m2)

• Executive Suites on the higher level of the main building, with 2 sleeping rooms, living room and a spacious terrace with an outdoor Jacuzzi and breathtaking views, (135 m2)



Most of the Suites have connecting doors to Standard Rooms; baby cot available free of charge.

All pools in all units are heated and have fresh water. Sea water available upon request and on charge in selected units with private pool.

Main Pool:

The main swimming pool has a separate part with sea water and one part of it is heated. It covers over 2.500m2 of land, including an impressive pool bar located in the middle of the pool. Children’s pool area is available with fresh water.

Dining & Bars:

Avra Imperial has a Main Restaurant with an impressive terrace overlooking the main pool, for B/B and H/B clients, with breakfast, dinner and theme nights buffet, offering 2 show cooking stations, with breakfast, 3 a-la-carte restaurants (1 restaurant at the main pool and 2 sea side restaurants), a lounge bar in the Lobby, a pool bar and a beach bar.



Spa & Wellness:

The Spa / Thalassotherapy center covers an area of 1.900 m2 with the following available facilities:

• Indoor heated swimming pool of 200 m2 with pool surround cascade, 2 pool surround water jets and 6 stainless steel hydro massage loungers.

• Temperature zone which includes steam bath cabins, Finnish sauna and ice making equipment.

• Water zone, which consists of an 8 m long foot path with wall-mounted water jets for a medium intensity foot massage, mist shower, bithermal shower, Scottish shower and cold rain shower.

• Relax zone, offering 8 heated loungers and aromatotherapy equipment.

• Therapy zone with balneotherapy baths, Vichy shower, automated therapy lounger zen, dry float bath, healing body & face massage treatments.

• Hhairdresser’s saloon, spa manicure & pedicure, nail art, make up.

• Fully equipped gym & fitness center.



Mini Club:

There is a spacious Mini Club of 100 m2, with video, TV, indoor and outdoor play areas, individual Children’s pool, as well as a paddling pool for children 0-4 years.

Attendance: from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM for children 4-12 years old.



Guest Relations:

A multilingual team is available at the disposal of the Avra Imperial clients from 09.00 AM to 10.00 PM.



Animation:

A discrete light animation is available during the day and evening. An open air theater is available for evening events.



Land / Sea Sports:

Windsurfing, Canoeing, Jet Ski, water skiing, jet bikes are available, operated by 3rd party.
